We understand you may have questions about this extraordinary dining experience, so we’ve compiled some of the most frequently asked ones to provide clarity and ensure you feel comfortable before embarking on your elevated journey.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Drinks session: Admission to our welcome lounge + an open seat on the Lounge In The Sky table + a platter of 4 canapes + 2 cocktails/beers + free flow of water.
  • Sunset Dinner session:Admission to our welcome lounge + a PRIVATE seat on the Lounge In The Sky table + 3-course dinner + free flow of water, juices, soft drinks, or flavoured ice tea.
  • Second Dinner Session:Admission to our welcome lounge + an open seat on the Lounge In The Sky table + 3-course dinner + free flow of water, juices, soft drinks, or flavoured ice tea.

Seats are sold online at : www.reservation.loungeintheskybali.com, via our travel agents and on-ground (walk-in) at our lounge at Seminyak Square.

  • Drinks session: IDR 800,000 nett and IDR 550,00 nett for children
  • Sunset Dinner session: IDR 1,550,000 nett and IDR 1,000,000 nett for children
  • Second Dinner Session: IDR 1,450,000 nett and IDR 1,000,000 nett for children
  • Anyone above the age of 12 and with a minimum height of 120cm and a maximum weight of 150kg. 
  • Guests must be in good health and free from, but not limited to heart conditions, back problems, neck problems, broken bones, recent surgery and high blood pressure. 
  • Pregnant women are also not allowed to experience Lounge in the Sky.

Experience is possible for wheelchair users and people with mild disabilities BUT please write to us in advance BEFORE purchasing your seat with a detailed explanation on your condition for our safety officer to evaluate and advise.

Lounge in the Sky can sit a maximum of 32 people per session.

  • Drinks session: 40 Minutes
  • Sunset Dinner session: 60 minutes
  • Second Dinner Session: 60 minutes
  • All guests are recommended to use the restroom prior to taking their seats. 
  • However if there is an emergency and you need to use the restroom during your flight, the table can be lowered down. 
  • We do not recommend this though, as the other guests will have to wait for you before being lifted into the air again.

We have 3 sessions of LITS experiences daily: 4:50PM, 6:00 PM, 7:30 PM. You are to come at least 60 minutes earlier before your purchased time for briefing etc.

  • The table will take off as per schedule and your admission will therefore be considered as forfeited. Please note that no refund will be given. 
  • To be fair to other guests, the table will not be lowered once it has been lifted into the air, until the experience ends.
  • Wear comfortable clothes. We suggest you avoid wearing open shoes or shoes without laces on the day of the experience. 
  • Also, keep in mind that the temperature might be slightly low/cold when you are in the air.

Avoid bringing many things with you to the experience as we will only allow small items such as handphones and small handbags to the table. You will be asked to leave larger bags, umbrellas, etc. at the lounge. We will have lockers for storage, but the size will be limited therefore avoid bringing large items with you. The organizer does not compensate for any perished, lost, stolen, damaged items in the venue.

  • Yes it is. All concepts are designed according to German norm DIN 4112. The table is built in Belgium and all drawings, calculations and simulations are tested by TÜV Rhineland, a global provider of technical, safety, and certification services. 
  • This obsession for safety is probably one of the reasons why the experience is now operated in more than 45 countries and got the official authorizations from some of the toughest countries in the world. Thousands of Dinner in the Sky experience has taken place since its launch in May 2006. 
  • Lounge In The Sky Bali has also got the approval of from all relevant authority parties in Indonesia.

We have public liability in place for the event. However, like most outdoor experiences, you will be required to sign an indemnity and waiver form. Failure to sign (and agree to) the indemnity & waiver form will render your admission as forfeited. Please note that no refund will be given.

The table can go up to a maximum of 45-50 meters. However, the actual height of the table during the experience is at the organizers discretion, based on wind conditions.

Kindly note that once a seat purchase has been made, strictly no refund will be given, unless the experience is cancelled by the organizer themselves, for reasons such as natural disasters etc. The table will take off as per schedule.

Yes, our reservations are transferable since we do not require the names of individual guests at the time of purchase. Anyone with a valid boarding pass can attend the event, provided they pass the check-in process successfully.

The experience will only be canceled if there are major occurrences such as natural disasters, riots etc.  In such cases, a full refund (on the fee of the experience only) will be offered by the organizer.

We have a standard menu with different options for the main course. Unfortunately, we do not allow any changes to it, unless you are doing a private event with us.

The menu from Rosalitas Canteen. The Official Caterer is carefully crafted and selected. All meats ordered from the hotel are strictly sourced and slaughtered in accordance with Islamic principles and their suppliers and producers are legally approved and certified by the Department of Islamic Development Indonesia (HalalMUI).

We strictly prohibit outside food or drinks to be brought into the event area. All guests would be subjected to a basic bag check.

  • Very slight rain with no strong wind and no lightning: The experience will still take place as usual as the table is covered with a roof and you will not get wet. Rain ponchos will be offered.
  • Moderate to heavy rain/ strong wind/ lightning: The organizers have the rights to delay the experience/ flight of the table (at the organizers’ discretion but with a maximum delay of 1.5 hours only) to wait for the rain to stop. If the rain still does not stop after this time, the organizer will cancel the session. You will either be given a replacement voucher or a full refund depending if you have purchased the weather guarantee. Your food will be serve in the ground lounge regardless.
  • Very slight rain with no strong wind and no lightning: The experience will still take place as usual as the table is covered with a roof and you will not get wet.
  • Moderate to heavy rain/ strong wind/ lightning: The table will be lowered to the ground. Our ground staff will usher you with umbrellas into our indoor lounge. The rest of the dinner experience will take place at indoor lounge. Your menu and serving style remain as it is. Please note that no refund will be given. 
We recommend buying weather guarantee for Bali’s visitors or tourists staying for a limited period of time.

If the session is cancelled by the organizer due to bad weather ON event day:
  • With weather guarantee: A full refund will be returned to the buyer. The food prepared for you will be served to you at our ground lounge.
  • Without weather guarantee: A voucher with the same value will be given to the buyer to be used again at any time within the current event duration. The food prepared for you will be served to you at our ground lounge.
Yes you can! We sell exclusive ‘open vouchers’ which can be redeemed into actual seats, allowing the gift recipient to choose whatever date and time he / she wants to go for his sky experience.
YES! From Birthday songs to other special announcements, we can arrange it for you, provided the request is made in advance.

No, we do not allow date changes after a reservation has been made and paid for, except in cases of emergencies or medical reasons. Any request for a date change must be supported by valid proof, such as a medical certificate or official documentation of the emergency. We strive to accommodate these requests as best as we can, but due to the unique nature of the Dinner in the Sky experience, flexibility is limited.
